A cafe & catering company run by mother-daughter team Lynn Tripp & Olivia Brent. 

Lynn has been in the food industry for over thirty years as a food scientist and is an expert at communicating science to chefs.  She has a history in restaurants and a love for all things food.  In March of 2016, she was approached to brainstorm possibilities of what to do with the cafe space in the new Redbrook community in South Plymouth. She and Olivia came up with the concept for The Farmers Table together and were asked to start a business in this location as the first restaurant in this new development.  Olivia was working as a chef, catering in New York City, and Lynn is a Professor of Food Science at Johnson & Wales University.  Olivia was excited to to move back to her home of Massachusetts to start a cozy cafe storefront with a catering company. Olivia moved to Plymouth and the cafe had its grand opening in October of 2016 with the help of Olivia's husband, Marty, who worked tirelessly alongside them for a year and a half! (Thank you Marty!)  Lynn is still a full-time professor and Olivia has grown the cafe and the catering company to serve The South Shore, Cape Cod and the Islands as Executive Chef of The Farmers Table.

The Cafe is our "home base"  where we serve breakfast, lunch, and weekend brunch.  We have grown so close to all of our customers and community and love serving you all. We are so thankful for all of your support of this local, women-run, family business.
